Sandy and My Puppy

Now that Sandy's face is clear, no one can stop me from taking pictures. Get a load of my little sweetie pie.

Mommy and Sandy are now eating healthy (not necessarily mean yummy) so she's getting chubbier every day. Look at those big eyes and chubby cheeks. She loves reading her soft books, My Puppy and My Kitty.

On allergies, sleepless nights and weird lullabies

Now I can blog about Sandy after months of sleepless nights, cross-milk allergies and hospitalization due to backpains. I can't seem to find enough time to work, let alone blog. So I'll just post the "highlights" of my little one.

1. She smiles when she sleeps (Which later, I found out is involuntary. So much for hoping that she's smiling at mommy's voice)

2. She had rashes on her face for 2 months because of milk allergy. (poor baby!) Her face is now clear though, thanks to Mommy's milk. I'm now breastfeeding exclusively because Sandy can only take my milk. The downside is I have to say goodbye to cakes, ice cream, pizzas for one year! A small sacrifice for my daughter's health.

3. Sandy looks a lot like her Papa now and I'm not sure if I should be happy about that LOL

4. We had her baptized last December and she cried the whole time. She only stopped crying when the priest poured water on her head. She thought it was Mommy giving her a bath!

5. Mommy is her new pacifier and toy. She nibbles, nurses, sucks when she's bored, happy, sad, sleepy. Name it and she'll do it while tucked in my breast.

6. She hates her sling, stroller, so-expensive-crib and bouncer.
She's still colicky so hubby and I take turns in carrying her while moving around the house.

7. She doesn't fall asleep with the usual bedtime songs but play the 'Girl from Ipanema' and you'll find yourself cradling a drooling baby in no time.

What's new with hubby and me:
1. We hate her crib. She doesn't want to stay there. We just use it to change her nappies and to play the lullabies.

2. Our tidy and carefully decorated room is gone. It now smells like milk, medicine and nappies. Not to mention filled with any type of furry animals that you can imagine.

3. We never go out at all. I haven't seen the sun in 3 months. We went to the mall once or twice when Sandy's just a month old but she screamed in the parking lot so loud we had to go home. It was very depressing.

4. We decided not to take things for granted again lol.

Here are some photos from Sandy's Baptism last Dec 04, 2005.
