Extraordinary Correspondence of Griffin & Sabine

Been checking Amazon books because my client will be coming home this July. He said he can fill an entire box for me so I should order what I can online. I've been dying to complete my Griffin and Sabine collection and I think this is the perfect time to purchase them.

I'm also thinking of buying some of my favorite titles in used condition. This way, I'd get to buy tons of books without spending too much. I wanted to get a laptop but figured July is too near so I won't be able to save enough money. We can always do it on November since my client comes home every four months.

Deathly Hallows

Gosh, the suspense is killing me. I'm halfway done that I can't help but feel sad that I won't be able to read about them anymore. I don't want it to end!!! I'm so hoping that there will be an 8th book or something. This book is action packed. I'd like to say that I'm excited to see this on the big screen but the disappointment that I felt upon watching the order of the phoenix recently reminded me not to keep my hopes up. The movies don't do justice to the emotions that were described in the book - anger, fear, happiness, revenge, and pain. Even the magic and fight scenes were too dull.

Well, I can only hope for the best.

Harry Potter Again

I've been neglecting my full time job because of Harry Potter lol. I was right when I said book four will get exciting in the middle. It's cool to see Harry getting better with spells unlike other stories wherein the hero is always the underdog. I never rest my eyes and now I keep on seeing black spots from reading too long. Guess that's the disadvantage of reading on a small screen.

Goblet Of What

As much as I love Harry Potter, I find book 4, The Goblet of Fire extremely slow. I know I said that the books better than their movie counterpart but I'll have to disagree with myself this time. Maybe I was expecting a lot on the first few pages? It's just that the movie left me hanging on my seat while I found myself yawning from time to time reading the book. I'll give it another shot tonight. Things might get interesting once the other schools reach Hogwarts.
