Paintball Gear

I received a call from my favorite cousin reminding about his 21st birthday next week. He said that since he's my favorite and vice versa, I should be the first to give him a present. And not just any gift, he specifically told me that he wants to receive a paintball gun package. He even gave me the url to Zephyrpaintball.com so I can check out what they have to offer. At first glance, I was shocked that a big grown man would ask something as expensive as a 1 star Nitro Kit ($249.98) but after browsing through the site, I found plenty of affordable items for all paintball addicts like him. I'm choosing between a Goggle, a Maddog Designz harness or a pair of elbow pads. They all cost below $35 which is not bad considering that all their items have free shipping. I'll make sure to bookmark this site because once my other cousin finds out what I bought for his big brother, he'll make sure that he gets his share as well. Good thing their birthdates are six months away.

Tagaytay Highlands Outing with the MBAPs Part II

After the game, we all went to the pool area to have lunch. I admit it was pretty expensive but since we all paid for it in installment, it didn't hurt our pockets at all. The food was great but I failed to try all of them because, as always, I was talking nonstop again.

After lunch, the kids went swimming while the mommies started with what they're good at - having a photo shoot while chatting. It was really hot but we had an amazing time. We planned to try almost all the activities that Highlands has to offer but one whole day is just not enough! Read the full story here.

More photos from the outing.

Tagaytay Highlands Outing with the MBAPs

There are so many things that happened so I'm just gonna do my best to summarize it. First, if you're not familiar with the term MBAPs, it means Mommy Bloggers Association of the Philippines. It's not really official, I'm sure there are plenty of groups for mommy bloggers out there. Our founder, the B!tch Goddess, came up with the name while she was high on sugar and the name stuck to our little group since then.

So back to our summer getaway, we started the event with a basketball tournament for the daddies. It was a perfect idea because they all bonded after the game. While they were playing, the mommies were either taking photos/videos, chatting with each other and looking after the kids.

Life Enhancing Products

For those of you who don't know my husband, you'd be surprise that he's very OC when it comes to cleaning the house. So I've decided to buy him a box of powder free latex gloves that he can use separately for his car, our kitchen and bathrooms. That was when I came across the the Allegro Medical website. This online shop offers just about every life enhancing products that you can think of. With over 55,000 products, 50 categories and hundreds of sub-categories, it will be impossible to leave empty handed. Need freestyle diabetes test strips? Check. Carpal Tunnel computer glove? Shower chair? Baby gates? Educational aides? Sonic sitter - baby cry signaler? All available. Name it, they have it. I even found a product that can help the husband reduce his snoring. Imagine that. You can live a better life, you just have to search through their products and see how they can help you.

Little Misses

Here's another reason why baby girls rule! They're just so fun to dress up. It's like having a moving barbie doll except they poo and cry when they get tired.

Still, if ever our next baby will be a boy, I'd be more than happy to dress him up in cute little capri pants and checkered polo shirts. Plus I'm really hoping for a boy (two years from now!) so the husband will have someone to play ball with. :)

Disney Playhouse - Lifesaver

I know kids are not supposed to watch TV the whole day. But my daughter does and I know you might question my parenting skills but that's the only way I can work. Besides, Sandy just like having her TV shows playing in the background while she's drawing. Or if she's in the mood to watch, someone needs to be with her because she'll want to bombard that person with her endless questions. Aside from her Papa, Barney and Hi5, she learned half of her vocabulary from Disney Playhouse TV shows. If you feel like letting your toddler watch TV, I highly suggest the following:

Little Einsteins

Higgly Town Heroes

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Imagination Movers, Hi5, Tigger and Pooh, Handy Manny, Dibbo the Gift Dragon

Don't forget. Talk to them while they are watching. Ask questions and mimic whatever the character is doing. Interaction is the key. Which is why the above TV shows work. They ask questions, teach good manners and solve problems with the viewers so the kids won't have to just stare at the TV set.

Girl's Bestfriend

Every woman I know loves to accessorize. Whether it's the real thing, vintage or costume jewelry, accessories are the best way to upgrade your look whatever it is that you're wearing.

Let me share with you my favorite jewelry shop, Holsted Jewelers. They have an amazing collection of all kinds of jewelry from designer inspired to total looks, to personalized to vintage, to bridal gifts and many more. Their diamonds may not be real but the designs are exquisite it's like wearing the real thing.

Cocktail rings are the rage these days and here are the ones that I'm putting on my wishlist.

I am also loving these cheap but very fab charms for bracelets or necklaces.

Lastly, some more items that caught my eye under the Vintage Look category.

Holsted Jewelers have been providing exclusively designed jewelries, gifts and accessories since 1971. If you are shopping for gifts or treating yourself, their affordable jewelry is enough to make someone smile today.

Twilight Character

Rosalie

Beautiful and vicious, many people admire you or fear you. You tend to be a little self-centered, but hey, it IS all about you right?

Nice! Finally, an answer that I can be proud of mwahahahaha. Seriously, I do feel like I'm vain and self-centered when I was single. But once you become a mother, there's just no way that you can think of yourself before your child. So you could say I've grown up a lot. Still vain, though. Some things are hard to change.

Princess Sandy

It's been awhile since I posted photos of my little princess here. She's so big now that I can't help but miss her small feet and chubby hands. Not to mention that her hair smells so bad now after playing for hours. It's hard to decide which is the best age because I kept saying she's getting better and more adorable every month. I wish she won't grow too fast though. Or else, I really have to start planning for baby #2!

Gold Investment

With the continuous fall of dollar, financial experts are suggesting to look into investing in silver. The world demand for silver exceeds annual production. Above ground stockpiles of gold bullion are diminishing rapidly and now that the U.S. government is a precious metal buyer, it is now a great investment vehicle. You can purchase silver, gold or other precious metals through Monex Deposit Company (MCD). You can have it delivered immediately or arranged for convenient and safe storage at an independent bank. The potential investor should always check the reputation of the selling firm and its record for delivering the merchandise as promised. Monex Precious Metals has a large and dedicated staff of hard asset professionals committed to serving your precious metals investment needs.

How Many of Your Needs Are Being Met?

Want to feel bad about yourself? Then you should take this test below. Apparently, none of my needs are being met even if I honestly feel like I'm doing okay. I did enjoy it, don't get me wrong. It's not everyday that you get an advice from Oprah you know. Try it. I want to see how your results might differ from mine.

None of Your Needs Are Being Met

Needs not being met: Physiological, love, safety, esteem, and self-actualization needs

While it may seem surprising to you, none of your core needs are being met.

You are not getting enough fuel to keep you going, and it's hindering every aspect of your life.

Go back to square one. Work on getting enough rest, eating right, and even exercising.

To be happy and fulfilled, your physical needs like food and sleep need to be taken care of.
